The White River Health System operates eight Lifetime Centres on behalf of the White River District Aging Agency. The Older Americans Act of 1965 created senior centers to improve the quality of life for adults over 60. Senior Life Centers provide meals during the week, social activities, health and wellness programs, and transport services for residents of Fulton, Izard, Sharp, and Stone counties in the north-central part of Arkansas.
