Marsing Senior Center

218 Main Street
Marsing, ID - 83639
(208)896-4634
Marsing Senior Center was organized by a group of Marsing Senior Citizens in July 1973. It was initially called Senior Citizens Club. Meals started being served in September 1977 with one meal on Thursdays. With the success of Thursdays meal, another meal was added on Mondays. Currently, breakfast is served on Monday and lunch on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The Marsing Senior Center has served Home-Delivered meals for over 40 years to Marsing and the surrounding area. Clients are offered 4 hot meals and 3 frozen meals weekly. The driver is also very observatory to conditions and situations, and many times is the only personal contact the clients may have on a regular basis. Clients have been found needing immediate medical attention, and in cases Adult Protection. This is invaluable in keeping seniors in their homes for as long as possible. We are actively involved with the Lion's Club, Marsing Schools, Hope House, local Churches, Chamber of Commerce, and VFW. We cater meals and partner with other organizations with fundraising and other events. We are hoping to expand our services to include house cleaning, and home health care for local Seniors. These services too, will be invaluable in keeping seniors in their homes for as long as possible...
