The site believes in the motto "reach one, teach." Even though it's a small-number environment, they take pride in knowing that the calendar events they hold each month will benefit at least one person, which has the potential to help another person in the future. The site hosts an annual health fair. The show brings new vendors and community representatives up close to educate and promote healthy living. Participants regularly use different types of bingo, such as fruit, snacks, candies, personal items and bean auctions, to name a few. Participants feel it is important to connect with Mary Gran with the residents of the Southwood nursing facility every month. Visits not only offer boosts of uplifting social stimulus, but also give residents the opportunity to participate in bingo and other beneficial activities to keep them active. ..
