The Templeton Senior Center serves seniors and adults of all ages in the Lynchburg area. This place has served as a meeting place in the community since 2004 and offers participants a great place to get together and have fun. Thanks to Orion Templeton's vision and generous spirit, the city received the building in the fall of 2004. Since then, the center has been the center of activity for both the community and bridge enthusiasts. Various activities are planned monthly and program suggestions are always welcome. Pass through Templeton for a game of bridge, canasta, mahjong, or join a lively discussion on current issues or American literature. Templeton offers classes in Zumba, yoga, cardio fit & tone, and even video chair exercises.
