Fruita Senior Center

325 N. Coulson Street
Fruita, CO - 81521
(970)858-0360

Over the years, they have raised nearly $90,000 through aluminum can collection and recycling. During that time their vision expanded to a full service Fruita Community Center (which includes the senior center). City Council embraced the seniors vision and twice worked on feasibility studies. City Council initiated a feasibility study in 2003, ultimately passing a resolution in January 2004 strongly supporting the concept of a recreation center in the future. It is a place for us to gather, interact, and to be an active and healthy community. Most importantly, it is a place for us to be Fruita. The Senior Center is located on the southwest corner of the Fruita Community Center, 325 N. Coulson Street and is free for use for all seniors 55 years and up. The Senior Center is a wonderful place to gather and socialize with friends, play cards, play pool, watch a movie or to just relax and read a book...
