Their organization operates four senior centers located in Georgia Counties of Clay, Harris, Randolph and Stewart. The centers serve as a place where older adults find community and a variety of activities to enrich their lives. Lunch is served five days a week. Meals are planned by a registered Dietitian and correspond to 1/3 of the daily RDA/AI for seniors. Nutrition is central to the goal of promoting the physical and mental health of eligible older adults who attend the Centers. A plan for food availability is provided to participants in this program, in anticipation of or during weather emergencies and disasters. To ensure accessibility to the Center's transport services.
