The Manistee County Council on Aging (MCCOA) is an organization that serves all seniors regardless of income or ability. MCCOA was established in 1971 and operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by a voter-approved tax levy. The council strives to maintain the sociality and independence of older people by offering a variety of programs and activities to residents of Manistee County over the age of 60.
