Geneva Area Senior Center is a non-profit organization initiated in 2001 whose goal is to promote the health, well-being and dignity of older Americans by serving as a focal point for advocacy, services and information. They are funded, in part, by the Ashtabula County Senior Services levy. They are proud to serve this community and proud of their community for their continued support. They also receive monetary and in-kind donations from the F.O.E. #2243, the V.F.W. #6846 , the City of Geneva, area business and contributions from the general public. They work with several area organizations such as Work and Family Services, Adult Services, UHHS Geneva Hospital, Adult Protection Services, NAD, Yo-OPPORTUNITIES, PACE, Friendly Neighbor Program, Geneva Area Food Pantry, Geneva Fire Department, Catholic Charities, Ashtabula Community Action Agency, Area Care Homes, and many more to provide a better, happier and healthier life for seniors in the field. ..

The Senior Center offers an excellent opportunity for socialization in a variety of programs and activities. They are a meeting place for senior citizens from the area 55+ who offer a varied mix of backgrounds and culture. Some activities included: BINGO, arts and crafts, picnics, birthday parties, expert speakers and much, much more. They also have meals for the elderly at 11:30 am.
