Each Saturday from Noon to 2:00 p.m. shoppers can get a specified number of free items and can come back each week, but are asked to take only the specified number of allowed items to give everyone in need the same opportunity to get what they need. Those wanting more than the specified number of items are asked to give a small monetary donation to the Toledo Gospel Rescue Mission. As a rule, we have a variety of clothing, linens, household goods, knick-knacks, toys, and furniture on hand. Occasionally we even have items like exercise equipment, holiday decorations, or wrapping paper! Shoppers can usually find just about anything they could need to set up housekeeping at the Mission Mall. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of any given item at anyspecific time. They want to be the place that you come to when you want to learn something new and exciting. When you want to try out the latest trend in movement and exercise. Where you want to meet your friends and meet new ones. Where you can feel comfortable being you. Where the technology is in several places. Where the adventure will take you. The Jewish Living Center (JLC) and all its programs are open to those 60 and over and are supported by a generous grant from the Jewish Organization for the Support of Seniors Services (JSSSO) and through your campaign funds. ..
