We meet at 514 Main Street in Genoa every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The Center is open on Mondays at 9:30 AM for Bingo, and Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with lunch served at 11:30 am. We play "Bring a Prize, Take a Prize" Bingo at 12:30 PM, on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. We play Cards and Games at 12:30 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays, and Dominoes on Fridays at 12:30 PM. We also offer Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar checks on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. We have programs after lunch about a variety of topics, including Drug Task Force, Dementia Education, and a number of healthy living topics for Seniors. The center is open from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A nutritious, tasty lunch is served at 11:30 am. Lunch is followed by informative presentations with something of interest for everyone. Topics may include Dementia Information, Advance Directives, health related topics or noteworthy aspects of the community. We also offer recreational activities including, Euchre, and a variety of games and activities chosen by the seniors. The Danbury Seniors are a very active group and have many fundraisers to help supplement their numerous projects. One of our annual projects is the Danbury High School Scholarship program. Our seniors have a vested interest in helping those in need, but they primarily aim to help fellow senior citizens and young children. We hope you will visit our center. We have recently completed several new remodeling updates over the last 3 years and are proud to share with anyone wishing to join us.
