Currently, 18 persons confined to their homes are also served each month. The Bernardine Center receives some of its food supply from government sources while a majority of food is donated by area churches, organizations and individuals by way of actual in-kind food or monetary donations. The Bernardine Center is a founding member of Delaware County Interfaith Food Assistance Network (DIFAN) that consists of twelve food pantries which work cooperatively to serve about 400,000 persons annually.
