Bell County Housing. Family Shelter, Individuals Shelter and Emergency homeless shelter. Cove House maintains four housing facilities that are used to provide emergency shelter for those in need. We have a mens home, a womens home, and two family homes. As a general rule, individuals and families may stay in the facilities for a two week period. During that period, they are expected to make a strong effort to get their own independent housing and employment (if needed). Free Clinic: The Cove House Free Clinic is located in the Ledger Medical Plaza, 806 W. Avenue D, Suite H (next door to Burger King). The clinic is open every Tuesday unless posted on the door prior to 5 PM. registration is from 5 PM to 6 PM CST. The line to sign in usually starts forming around 2pm.
