West County Kenosha Senior Citizens' Council, Inc. (WKCSCC) has owned and operated the Westosha Senior Community Center (WSCC) since 1981. The goal of the Westosha Senior Community Center is to coordinate services, programs, and activities that help seniors maintain their independence, provide new learning opportunities, creativity, fitness, and friendship, and encourage their involvement as vital members of their communities. Over the past decade, the WSCC, an independent 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, has worked to build and provide robust fitness, business, and educational programs. WKCSCC's main funder is Kenosha County Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC). Especially for reasons of affordability, many of the 200 seniors who visit the WSCC monthly need the services of the Senior Center to improve their personal health by being mentally and physically involved. Their senior members and program participants live in Bristol, Salem Lakes, Trevor, Silver Lake, Brighton, Wheatland, Somers, Paddock Lake, Twin Lakes, Randall, Union Grove, Kenosha, and Pleasant Prairie. WSCC provides services to almost 500 elderly people per year. Many events are intergenerational to welcome families with the elderly. The members are between 50 and 95 years old. Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. ..
