Big Brothers Big Sisters offers one-on-one mentoring services for at-risk youngsters mainly from single parent or foster families.
Mentors are carefully screened and trained before they are paired with a child.
Their aim is to help young people improve socially and academically; while reducing the likelihood of negative behaviors, such as alcohol and drug use.
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Eligibility:
6-17 years old, single-parent households.
Fees:
Free of charge.
