Big Brothers Big Sisters provides one-on-one mentoring services for at-risk youth who are primarily from single-parent families or foster homes. Mentors are carefully screened and trained prior to being matched with a child. The goal is to help youth improve socially and academically; while reducing the likelihood of negative behaviors, such as alcohol & drug use. Hours Of Operation: 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Mon.-Fri. Eligibility: Ages 6-17, from single parent homes. Fees: None.
