Food, Clothing, Financial Assistance, Emergency assistance to families and individuals in crisis; placing special emphasis on preventing homelessness through education and the provision of food, clothing and financial assistance with rent and utilities Rent and Utility Assistance: BCM's financial assistance program is dedicated to forestalling eviction and utility shut-offs by providing financial assistance to individuals and families experiencing a crisis such as an illness, death in the family or job loss. BCM will pay a portion of a rent, mortgage or utility bill in order to keep people in a stable, secure environment. Click here to view our Client Eligibility Guidelines in English or Spanish.C. Spencer Godfrey Food Pantry: BCM provides non-perishable foods, meat, and other household supplies for a one-week period. The food pantry also provides homeless individuals with daily snack bags and weekly hygiene kits through our Homeless Ministry. The pantry is stocked through individual donations and voluntary food drives sponsored by local churches, businesses and civic groups. Additional items are purchased through our partnership with Kroger on Piedmont Road. Clothing: Buckhead THRIFTique is a boutique-style thrift store that offers free clothing to people in need, as well as offering affordable clothing and household items for sale to the general public. All profits from sales are used to support BCM programs.
