CCC provides application assistance to a variety of public benefits for the vulnerable population in Houston. With support from the National Council on Aging, we have a Benefits Enrollment Center (BEC) that offers the following FIVE core benefits: SNAP (food stamps), Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP), Medicaid, Medicare Savings Program (MSP), Part D Extra Help (LIS). We also provides additional benefits application assistance including: Supplemental Security Income (SSI) coaching, Gold Card, Free Legal Clinic, Weatherization, Lifeline (federally funded free phones). CCC assists qualified community members complete and submit applications for SNAP Food Benefits on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month from 9:15am 11:30am. No Appointment Necessary.
