Services: Offers food (groceries for the number of family members) once every two months.
Clothing once every two months to also include other things such as: diapers, toiletries and household linens when available.
Transportation in the form of bus tickets to a pre-arranged medical appointment or job interview must be verifiable.
A monthly bus ticket can be issued for a new full-time job (32+ hours).
Employment must be verified by a physical copy of the employment verification letter.
Also offers financial assistance for identification (Mondays only). They also provide financial assistance for utilities (electric bill assistance) A disconnect notice must be issued and the customer must be able to pay half of the bill. Once the utility is turned off, CAM is no longer able to help financially. At this point, dial 211 on the United Way Hotline. Financial assistance for prescription drugs up to $40 per year (may be given several times a year if each time it does not reach a total of $40) Once a year seasonal help to includes: School Supplies / Back Pack (enrollment is in the middle to late June and early July), coats from November to February, emergency Christmas help. Requirements:
Client must have a certain type of photo id (expired, offender ID, school ID, medical installation id, or a color copy with visible information).
They also required original social security card.
