SCUCS. Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. E.A.S.E. includes an emergency food shelf, a lending closet of medical appliances and a shut-in shopping program. E.A.S.E. offers assistance with fuel, utility payments and emergency shelter. - The Food Shelf offers a three-to-five-day supply of nonperishable food items to seniors experiencing financial difficulties. - The Lending Closet provides certain medical appliances for up to a three-month period. During this time the client is expected to purchase an appliance through their medical coverage. - The Shut-in Shopping Program offers bi-monthly grocery shopping for homebound senior citizens. This service is provided by community trained volunteers who go to various supermarkets for the clients. - Fuel, Utility Payments and Emergency Shelter Benefits are determined on a case-by-case basis according to the clients financial situation. - Funding provided through: Camden County Division of Senior Services, Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Corporate Sponsors, Local Donations and FEMA Funds.
