Food for Body & Soul was originally formed in February 1995 as a non-profit volunteer organization to offer meals and a worship opportunity to homeless and hungry people in Glendale, California, on Sunday afternoons.
Through the efforts of many district churches, synagogues, businesses and individual volunteers, Food for Body & Soul has continued this service without interruption for the past two years.
Food for Body & Soul is in the process of organizing a local volunteer database to help other service providers meet their volunteer needs.
