Enables low income seniors the opportunity to volunteer in the community to render supportive one-on-one services to children with special needs for 15 to 40 hours per week in designated community settings. Volunteers receive a tax-free stipend, transportation reimbursement, meals while on duty, physical exam, in-service training, accident and personal liability insurance, earned sick and vacation leave, and paid holidays. Hours Of Operation: 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Mon.-Fri. Eligibility: Low income, ages 55 and over. Fees: None
