Program-based Transitional Housing
Wrap-around Case Management
Helping Hands' case managers and crisis managers meet one-on-one with program participants to identify key barriers. Our trauma-informed Individual Reentry Plans are customized to meet the participant's unique needs, with measurable goals and clear timelines. Participants meet regularly with staff to update Reentry Plans and check on progress toward goals.
Helping Hands provides the support and accountability to help ensure follow-through with gaining access to necessary resources such as food stamps, housing assistance, official documents, and employment services.
Reentry Program Key Components
Frequent drug & alcohol screenings
Mandatory volunteer hours
Job applications until employed
Weekly process groups
On-site classes to build basic life skills
AA/NA/Alanon or other recovery meetings as assigned
Exclusionary Criteria
Because Helping Hands serves so many children and Domestic Violence survivors, we are not able to serve Registered Sex Offenders or those who are not permitted around women or children.
Helping Hands facilities are all sober campuses, so clients must not be under the influence of any intoxicants or in possession of any intoxicants on-site.
