About Altoona Senior Center

Polk County operates seven (7) multi-purpose senior centers and nine (9) dining centers. The part-time senior centers have public hours of 9:30AM to 1:30PM and the full-time senior centers are open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday-Friday. The dining centers are open four hours per day. The centers serve as a focal point for area seniors and neighborhoods.

Can you tell me why we senior citizens in Blair County no longer get the Checks to buy produce at the farmers market or the Amish, they really came in handy we used to get 4 $20.00 checks to spend for produce.
