The mission of the Council on Aging (COA) 

To provide advocacy and support services to enable Carlisle's seniors to live dignified and independent lives.

The COA strives to continuously improve the quality of life of Carlisle residents aged 60 and over by identifying the needs of the population and combining the available resources, both public and private, to meet these needs.
