Clothing Program: Clothing items and toiletries are distributed to homeless individuals every Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at the basement entrance to St. Malachi Church. Clothing and small household goods are distributed to local families in need on the third Saturday of every month. An appointment required. Please call 216-771-3036. The Clothing Ministry can accept clothing donations such as seasonal streetwear/ outerwear clothing, underwear, sweatshirts, shirts, socks, belts, streetwear shoes and seasonal boots, hats and gloves. - Shower Program: Our longest running program, the Shower Program, helps homeless men and women each week. - Free clinic: Each Friday morning Metro Health provides medical services to individuals using the Malachi Center Shower Program. The goal is to treat health care isues before they require emergency room care or hospitalization. The project provides valuable hands on experience in serving vulnerable populations for medical students and residents. - Free Soup Kitchen: Over lunch, men in transition connect with God, each other and their own strength, bi-monthly. - Free Holiday Assistance: Assistance program for families during Thanksgiving and Christmas with food and gifts as available; engagement in service projects as well as holiday activities. - More services: Other services and programs include help with securing birth certificates and Identification cards for school, employment, and housing, a computer lab and access to sewing supplies and lessons. Malachi Center also hosts a MetroHealth clinic for homeless men and women each Friday morning and a Care Alliance nurse on Mondays.
