They offer rotating exhibitions, guided tours, children's birthday parties, permanent collection,s, and educational lectures and performances.
Note:
Programs include the High School Theatre Program, the Neighborhood Explorers Program for grades 8-10, cultural performances, family programs, interactive student lectures, and creative reading and writing programs.
Eligibility:
None for family programs and museum admission.
School programs are offered to students from participating in pre-kindergarten schools until the 12th and require a reservation.
Cost:
Most public and family programs are free with admission.
School programs are offered for a small fee.
Admission to the museum is free for those living or working in East Harlem above 103rd Street.
If you mention "I'm a neighbor," you waive the suggested entrance fee.
Children under the age of 12 are always free.
