Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Apply for food stamps and for the protection of children and adults LIHEAP.

The Department of Social Services (DSS) of New Hanover County administers the program locally and applications must be made in person at DSS, located at 1650 Greenfield Street.

LIHEAPcheques are sent directly to suppliers for qualified candidates when the process is complete.
