We serve those who are hungry in the Wilmington area through distribution of emergency food. This service is provided by volunteers in partnership with federal and state agencies, community organizations and businesses, without discrimination, and with care to preserve the dignity of the individuals being served.
Mother Hubbard's is Open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday, Fridays and Saturdays from 1 - 3 pm.
Mother Hubbard's is Closed on the Following Dates : Martin Luther King Monday in January, 2nd Saturday in April (Azalea Festival), Memorial Day Monday, July 4th, Labor Day Monday, November 10th, Thanksgiving Thursday, Thanksgiving Friday, December 25th, December 26th and January 1st. Typically, Mother Hubbard's Cupboard closes when New Hanover County Schools close due to inclement weather. However, we do try to stay open before, and open up as soon as possible after hurricanes and snow/ice storms. When in doubt, please call 910-762-2199 to get up to date information on closing.
