Lyon County Senior Services oversees senior centers located in Dayton, Fernley, Silver Springs, and Yerington. At Lyon County Senior Centers you can enjoy a nutritious hot meal, make new friends, renew old acquaintances, and enjoy group activities. Our Senior Centers offer a variety of services and activities and provide access to community resources that will help individuals maintain independence and wellness. Each Senior Center provides transportation to and from the center. In addition, home-delivered meals are provided for homebound seniors, Monday through Friday, and frozen meals, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays.
Hi l will be moving to Dayton next month as l do not drive l was wondering if there is any form of transportation available to get around locally, shops, Doctor’s, etc. Also what amenities and programs the senior center provide. Information on these matters would be much appreciated.
