Services:
This office provides emergency home energy assistance for the Elderly Program (EHEAP), assists low-income families, with at least one person aged 60 and over, when families are experiencing a domestic energy emergency.
Payments related to home heating or cooling and other emergency energy costs during the heating (October-March) and cooling (April-September) seasons.
Beneficiaries of the program can receive vouchers for blankets, portable heaters, and fans.
Eligibility:
Record heating or cooling emergencies, at least one individual in a family 60 years of age or older, and a total household income equal to or less than 150% of the federal poverty standard.
