Oxford House is a self-run, self-supported recovery house for recovering alcoholics and drug addicts in which shelter, food, case management, individual counseling and group support are provided. Funds might be available to cover the first month's rent and security deposit.
Well, this is the best house of all the Oxford I've lived in. HOWEVER, nearly 6 grand a month rent plus utilities means they had to turn this 4 bed 2 bath house into an insane asylum and split open areas like living room into "bedrooms" with curtains and dividers and charging 650 for one of them. At the same time, the rules are simple, do as you please, come and go as you, please just don't use. You can have your gf/wife live with you if you want and everyone there is close like family. Look out for one another and since most of us are court ordered to be here, I give it two stars since the freedom to do as I please unlike most any other houses, and my gf can come and go as she pleases which is nice.
