Assists in providing the basic necessities to those in need, and comfort and encouragement for the lonely and the alienated. Food for the needy is collected and provided on a daily basis. Food baskets are given during the holiday seasons. Short-term funds for utilities, transportation, and shelter, are also provided Serves all of Lake county except Clermont, Lady Lake and Leesburg(except for those in the zip code 34788). Age groups: All. Hours: Mon.-Thurs. 10 a.m.-1 p.m. for food, Appointment only-for financial assistance. Fees: None
